Vigilo™ – a new unique product
Vigilo™ simplifies and improves the daily routines in preschools and day care centers, including communication with parents through the use of modern technology like web, touch screen, mobile units and more. Logistics and events are documented giving a unique traceable history. Both employees and parents are users of the system, with different views. Service based application can be accessed from anywhere at any time. No need for local backup solutions and it can be up and running on another unit in a very short time without any local setup.
Easy access to all relevant information about the children. Messages to and from parents are stored in a “mailbox” for each child and an overview of messages that are still relevant is available as well.
Tours and activities are planned in Vigilo. If the activity (swimming, transportation etc.) requires approval from parents, the system will automatically check that the approvals are in place for each child. It also checks that the relevant staff member has the necessary certifications, such as life saving courses. When the activity is finished, you can post a summary including pictures.
Meals and menus can be planned. Children's food allergies can be listed and parents can check this from home.
Recurring tasks can be scheduled. This may be children who will have physical training, language training or perhaps medications for a period. The system will remind you of these tasks and allow you to mark them as done.
Daily and weekly schedules for each child will show all tours that are done or planned, all the repetitive tasks and times for check-in and out.
Parents will be able to log on to Vigilo™ wherever they have internet access. Here they will get a full overview of all messages concerning their child, as well as sending new ones. Through daily and weekly schedules, they will have an overview of what their child has been involved in and what is planned. This could be activities, with photos, and it may also be other events that the staff have registered - like something special that the child said or did.
Each child has their own personal archive of photographs and drawings. If the child participates in a sports activity or needs medication at fixed times, the parents are able to get this information on demand and know when it is done. They also get information about the meals and menus. Profile data for their children will be available to parents so they can verify this information at any time.
